Hudson County Central Labor Council Labor Walks

The upcoming governor’s race is nothing less than a fight for the future of New Jersey’s labor movement. Our right to organize, bargain collectively, and secure fair wages and benefits is on the line. Jack Ciattarelli has a long record of siding with Chris Christie and corporate interests who undermine workers. At the same time, Mikie Sherrill has stood with us every single time, with a 100% AFL-CIO voting record and unwavering support for organized labor.
Volunteers are needed. Working together, we will elect Mikie Sherrill as Governor, Dale Caldwell as Lt. Governor, all endorsed legislative candidates, and 46 union members to public offices across our state. Voting begins on September 20 and concludes on Election Day, November 4.
We respectfully request that every local union be encouraged to provide volunteers to each Central Labor Council between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.beginning on the dates listed below and each Saturday following through Election Day. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the CLC President or Labor 2025 Coordinator with any questions. Click here to download a PDF of the dates and locations of the labor walks.
